Pathology Associates of Tyler, P.A has served the Greater Tyler area for over 40 years offering a full spectrum of surgical pathology and cytopathology services for hospitals, physician offices, outpatient surgery centers and other health care providers. Our laboratory has nine AP/CP board-certified pathologists; two of which have additional board-certification in hematopathology and one in cytopathology. Pathology Associaties of Tyler, P.A. also performs the anatomic services for Diagnostic and Reference Laboratories (DRL), a regional full service clinical laboratory comany located in Tyler, Texas.

Beginning December 1st, 2008 P.A.T. will begin offering FLOW CYOMETRY as part of our testing menu. With two fellowhip-trained hematopathologists and the cutting-edge technology of an 8-color flow cytomety system, P.A.T. will be able to offer improved detection, delivery of more precise data and faster turn-around-time of patient results.

Pathology Associates of Tyler, PA services include a wide range of tests including surgical pathology, special staining, fine needle aspiration, pathology consultation, gynecologic cytology including liquid-based and conventional Pap test, non-gynecologic cytology, Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) by PCR, Neisseria gonorrhea (NG) by PCR and the HPV Digene Assay. All Chlamydia (CT) by PCR, Neisseria (NG) by PCR and HPV Digene Assay are performed by Diagnostic and Reference Laboratories.
